How to contribute

NRIF has opened four donation channels, designed to be accessible to all donor types, from individuals giving via mobile money to international institutional contributors.

Your contribution is in safe hands

The NRIF Endowment Fund operates under independent governance, with full public accountability, designed to maintain donor confidence across political cycles and institutional changes.

Investment Committee
An independent five-member Investment Committee, including two non-executive Board Directors and two external experts, makes all investment decisions. No political direction is permitted.
Capital Preservation
The corpus is never spent. Phase 1 investments are limited to Government T-Bills and commercial bank fixed deposits with CBG-licensed institutions. Capital preservation takes precedence over yield.
Annual Independent Audit
The Endowment Fund is independently audited each year, separate from NRIF's operational accounts. The auditor reports directly to the Board and is appointed by competitive tender.
Public Annual Report
NRIF publishes a comprehensive Annual Endowment Report within 90 days of year-end, including audited financials, investment performance, total contributions, and all programmes funded.
